Today was one of those days where I got a decent amount of work done, and I was able to have some fun as well.
I’ve been working on a semi-secret project for the past few days. Not anything that I’ve kept secret for a reason, I just kept it a secret because I wasn’t sure how well it would turn out. Now that I’ve made significant progress, it’s time to unviel it! I am please to present a top-down raglan cardigan, designed using elements from Custom Knits by Wendy Bernard. I call it the Pea Soup.
I’m planning on making it a little more loose fitting than I typically make cardigans, but I still want to be able to wear it closed most of the time, so it will be a little fitted.
I went grocery shopping, and almost fell victim to clever marketing and purchased a bottle of shiny shiny vodka. I definitely emailed this picture to everyone I knew… and then blogged it. I’m still debating going back and getting the bottle.
I guess if I know I’m falling victim to a clever marketing scheme it’s not as bad as falling to it without knowing, right?
I then came home to find my precious fatty sleeping in a teeny tiny bookcase compartment.
It was quite the day.
