A Very Good Cowl Indeed

by Liz on February 9, 2012

When I was younger, Alice in Wonderland was one of my favorite stories. I ob- sessively read the novel and begged my mother to decorate my room in an Alice motif (she did, which resulted in endless nightmares about falling down rabbit holes). The two stitch patterns fold into each other, one featuring whole, complete diamonds, and the other appearing to be leaves with little caterpillar bites taken out of them.

yarn. Approximately 120 grams (410 yards) fingering weight.

yarn shown. Creatively Dyed Yarn Steele (100% superwash merino, 510 yards per 150 grams). Color shown: Yucca.

needle. US 3 (3.25mm) Because this pattern requires you to cast on so many stitches, it is best work it with a circular needle. I found a 24” set to be adequate.

Do you have any more KAL scheduled? I see that the above comments were posted last year. I recently re-discovered Raverly and am delighted I did.
