I absolutely loved knitting these socks. I ran into very few problems (other than me being retarded and accidentally dropping stitches), and they didn’t take long at all. It fits really well, and I love it. Mods included 2×2 ribbing instead of 1×1 twisted ribbing due to some fit issues. I did 5 full lace repeats for the foot, and it fit my 7.5 size foot perfectly. Yay, sock victory!
I will definitely be knitting these socks again. I really enjoyed the way this yarn striped with the pattern. More detailed pictures here.

Welcome to feministy.com, the website of designer Liz Abinante. I like to design fashionable knitwear garments and accessories for women. I also teach. I'm best known for my original shawl pattern, Traveling Woman. I try to design each pattern with multiple options so knitters can use a different yarn, gauge, or needle to create the project of their dreams.
