Welcome to feministy.com, the website of designer Liz Abinante. I like to design fashionable knitwear garments and accessories for women. I'm best known for my original shawl pattern, Traveling Woman. I try to design each pattern with multiple options so knitters can use a different yarn, gauge, or needle to create the project of their dreams. I love to read, crochet granny squares, and bake. I live and work full time in Chicago with my fiancé and resident photographer, cat, and new puppy.

Ivory Tower Cowl: a fun cabled cowl with a unique slant. Worked up in worsted weight, the cowl is an impressive knit, but simple to work if done without a cable needle. Available for $6 via Ravelry.
I mean, really? Does anyone ever have molasses in their house? I don't always, but I do love ginger snaps. Make some tasty No Molasses Ginger Snaps to abate your cravings.

Photographer in residence Colin FitzGerald likes to gab about photography, and has resigned himself to the fact that his apartment will always be overflowing with yarn. He's been to four continents, and loves travel photography. You can email him with questions about photography, world travel, or factology.
