I have sent out an announcement to everyone who purchased Luna’s Shawl with the latest version. This update has been awhile in the works – I’ve finally worked out the kinks translating this pattern into the fingering weight version.
I’ve also been working on tweaking my patterns to be more printer-friendly. Rather than distributing images throughout the pattern, they’re only present on the cover page. I am slowly going through and updating all of my other patterns.
But onto the important stuff! This new version of Luna’s Shawl includes a few upgrades:
- Printer-friendly setup. All pages of the pattern (except for the cover and 2 red lines on the lace chart) are black-and-white.
- New easy-to-read font. It zooms in for crisp, clear letters.
- New easier-to-zoom charts. The charts are now embedded in the pattern, so you can zoom in until the yarn over is the size of your face.
- Instructions for fingering weight! Yay!
- Previously discovered errors corrected.
My favorite part of the new pattern? Beautiful photos of a very sunny Luna’s Shawl in Little Red Bicycle Tandem Sock. The gorgeous Saffron yellow will undoubtedly make you wish you could wear yellow!

So pretty, Liz! I can tell you put a lot of thought into your patterns. There are a lot of details that you include and issue you address which would not have dawned on me. Thanks!
