Perpetually Persistent Cowl

by Liz on February 29, 2012

Overzied puffy coats are a new thing for me. I’ve never had to bother zipping a coat all the way up to my nose. I’ve also never had to deal with my nose leaking, and then freezing on my face. Solution? A super tall, super warm, super quick cowl that stands up on its own. This cowl is perpetually, persistently, unnecessarily warm.

I loved making this cowl. It was so fast after all of the sock weight yarn. Great plan for the KAL. Thanks for doing this, it’s been a blast so far.

Beautiful cowl and gorgeous pictures. What color way did you use?

I just purchased yarn at Stitches from Dragonfly Fibers to make the Perpetually Persistent Cowl and they told me this was a free pattern from feministy.com. I see it is actually $6. Not happy.

I’m very sorry you were misinformed! The pattern was free it people completed the Great Cowl KAL competition in February 2012, but has always been available for $6.
