Weeble Wobble Cowl

by Liz on February 16, 2012

Knitting in the round makes me really happy, and I love cowls. The short rows add a little spice–and shape–to an otherwise simple pattern. Because it is worked in stockinette and garter stitch, this pattern is great at showing off hand painted or variegated yarns. The easy in- the-round construction makes it easy to adapt in different yarn weights or finished sizes.

yarn shown. Creatively Dyed Yarn Steele (100% superwash merino, 510 yards per 150 grams). Color shown: Yucca.

needle. US 3 (3.25mm) Because this pattern requires you to cast on so many stitches, it is best work it with a circular needle. I found a 24” set to be adequate.

notions. 1 stitch marker & darning needle

are you able to wear this cowl like the bottom pix or is this another different cowl?

All of the pictures above are of the same pattern. So yes! You can.

I did your KAL and I can’t get the weeble wobble to lay
flat. It is a long rolled tube. Any suggestions? Thanks,
jcw
