Elfine’s socks: lace chart

I am going to be starting my next pair of socks this week, and I decided to knit a pair of Elfine’s socks. I’ll be using Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in Gold Hill (think falling leaves), and I wanted to make myself a lace chart of the pattern before I began. I love knitting from charts, it makes me very happy, and I figured that if I was going to all that work to chart the lace pattern for myself, I may as well post it on the web so others who are much more lazy than myself can utilize it as well.

I got a little repetitive with the whole “do not purl the end of row sts on the leg” bit, but that’s because if I didn’t, I would forget. I think it goes without saying that you should completely review the Elfine’s socks pattern first, and then use the chart as a visual reference.

So I am proud to present the lace chart for Elfine’s socks. If you find any errors in my PDF, let me know and I’ll make the necessary edits.

ETA 5/22/08: The original PDF had some problems with the font (no idea how or why), which have now been fixed.

Please note: I haven’t tested this chart, but I’m fairly certain I didn’t make any errors. Also, sorry about the box for sts 10 of the pattern repeat being a little wider than the others, I didn’t notice it until post-print out.
