After an extremely frustrating five day period of nothing but knitting hell, I think I got my groove back. I cast on the ever famous Monkey sock tonight in the most perfect colorway of all time. It has just the faintest hint of self striping, in the most wonderful array of colors.

I won’t be surprised if I finish sock #1 tomorrow. I’m not feeling so well, so I will most likely be staying home sick from work tomorrow unless I experience some sort of insane improvement in my physical state. We all know what calling out sick means: lots of sleep, soup, and very little of much else.
