It’s not that I don’t like my job, or Boyfriend, or my friends, but I’d much rather be knitting than going to work, and I’d prefer it if I could knit when I hung out with Boyfriend and my friends.

My non-knitting friends seem to think this is odd.

I am so with you. I’m slowly getting my friends used to the idea that I probably will be bringing out a sock on most hanging out occasions, though. They still think it’s odd, but they accept it as just that thing I do, and since I am clearly odd (to them), now it’s odd if I *don’t* bringing out my knitting. Indoctrination works!

for the last year or so i’ve been seriously thinking of doing nothing but knitting. but i can’t survive with the lack of moolah that might bring. in the short term anyway. damn capitalist consumerist culture. xoxo
