I am a very happy girl.
Meet Phoebe, my new 16GB black iPhone 3G:
I’m loving every minute of it. While I preferred the white visually to the black, I didn’t have a preference for which color I purchased. In person, in action, they both looked equally good to me. I knew the black would show grease and fingerprints, but I also knew the white would eventually get dirty, so I accepted the best of both evils. I’m not one of those people who really cares what color their electronics are, so I’m very happy with the black. It will live in the case, so I’m not particularly concerned with the color of the back of my phone.
I bought protective film sheets for it, and I have to say, I actually like using the touch screen with the sheet over it more than I do without it. Without it, it feels slightly sticky, and like I’m touching something I shouldn’t be. The film feels more natural to the touch.
(You’ll notice I don’t have 3G connectivity in this picture. I do not get it in my room, but I do in the rest of the house and everywhere else I go, except solid cement buildings, haha.)
