I am happy to announce my new partnership with Colin FitzGerald Photography! Colin and I are combining our two passions – knitting for me, photography for him – to provide photography services for independent designers and yarnies.

As an independent designer just starting out, it was difficult for me to justify spending several thousand dollars on camera equipment, or several hundred on a professional photographer for each photo shoot I needed done. I know many talented designers face this dilemma, and as someone who thinks independent designers are the future of knitting, I want to help encourage growth in this community.

Our services are affordable and professional, and we offer varying locations, models, and styles for our shoots to make each design we shoot unique. We use professional equipment for our photos, and top-of-the-line editing software to guarantee that your images pop and your design gets the attention it deserves.

Photos are shot on-location in Chicago, IL by Colin, with models. I attend every photo shoot, guiding each shot we take, making sure that it is optimized for publishing knitwear patterns.

Prices range from $25–$100+

• Socks, mittens: approximately $25–$40
• Shawls, scarves, cowls, hats: approximately $50–$75+
• Adult garments, including cardigans, pullovers, skirts: approximately $80–$100+
• Prices vary depending on the style of shoot requested. You will receive a quote for your shoot before sending the item to us.
• Publishing an ebook or collection of patterns? We offer special rates for collections.
