Boyfriend’s birthday was yesterday, but I wasn’t able to spend much of it with him because I was in classes all day. But! It’s ok. We’re going out to dinner with his parents tonight, and I made him a special birthday treat today:

But shh, it’s a surprise, he isn’t home yet! They’re chocolate chip cookie cupcakes, and they’re delicious. They are even better than chocolate chip cookies - they’ve got a slightly fluffy texture to them, and oh man, they’re just delicious. You can check out the recipe here. I’d recommend making them as mini cupcakes (as the recipe calls for) because they’re really rich. That, and, uh, the recipe makes about 10 regular sized ones…
