Extra Sizes
The pattern provides tables for additional sizes. The information is provided in a table, so you can fill-in-the-blank and easily knit the custom size of your choice. I recommend that custom sizes be knit using the grafting method. Additional sizing provided includes:

- Scarf: lace, DK, sport, worsted, aran, and bulky
- Stole: lace, fingering, DK, sport, aran, and bulky

Details
The pattern includes both written instructions and charted instructions. Instructions are given to use every single last yard of your yarn. You have two options for knitting the pattern, one of which requires grafting (the other doesn’t).

Pattern Customizations
- Custom sizing formula
- Working the entire body in lace (two lace options)
- Preventing edge flaring
- Preventing curling in narrower scarves

Special Skill Requirements
- Provisional cast on
- Grafting (optional)
- Lace knitting

Traveling Cowl

Knit in the round, available in four options.

Worsted weight
Large/loose
Fiberphile Yarns Super Squish Worsted (shown in Mossy Bank)
Small/snug (not shown)

Fingering weight
Small/snug (not shown)
Large/loose (not shown)

Details
The cowl comes in four different options depending on your yarn and cowl preference. If you prefer loose cowls, both large sizes are knit at a looser gauge, allowing the cowl to gently fall down your neck. The small/snug cowls are knit at a tighter gauge to allow for more sturdy construction. The larger cowls emphasize the lace, while the smaller cowls are built for warmth.

Pattern Customizations
– Additional yarn weights
- Recommendations for knitting flat
- Full lace cowl

Special Skills Requirements
- Knitting in the round

Traveling Socks

Details
This cuff down pattern transitions from eyelets to the main Traveling Woman lace chart across the leg. The final edge chart spans the toe, with some sizes working the edge chart during the toe decreases. Separate sets of instructions, charts, and written lace are included for each size and yarn weight. The sock utilizes a heel flap and wedge toe, but provides instructions for a star toe as well.

Pattern Customizations
– Instructions for a star toe
- Modification for toe up socks
- Suggestions for rearranging charts

Special Skills Requirements
– Grafting
- Knitting in the round
