To be honest, not much happened in regards to knitting this weekend. Boyfriend’s half sister, her husband, and their three kids arrived from Israel this week, so we spent a lot time with them. Friday night we went out to dinner, and Sunday night we had a BBQ, which left lonely Saturday for my knitting adventures.

I was able to finish the second sleeve on my Yogini Bolero, as well as begin the front border. I’m in a bit of a rush now because I was to finish it before I leave for Mexico on Monday. I’ve only got a few rows left on the front border, and then I will need to complete the bottom border and ties, which should not be too challenging. I probably won’t have time to block it, but what the hell? Adventures at an all inclusive resort with a private beach in Mexico > blocking.

I don’t have much by way of pictures from this weekend because a lot of it was spent working on BitchBuzz in preparation for the launch this week. There has been a lot of editing of articles, and I think some of our writers now want to murder the Tracking Changes feature in Word. Please don’t kill me, writers! I love you! If I suddenly disappear, it’s because BitchBuzz at me alive.

On the knitting front this week, I cast on for a pair of toe up Charades yesterday, and have been taking progress shots almost every step of the way… mostly because I get bored easily.

I just needed something to do until one of my Olympic Games started, and this seems to be turning into one of those socks that’s done before you know it. Happiness! I wasn’t impressed with the stitch pattern at first, but after about 10 rows, it started to look a lot nicer. I’ll probably finish the first sock tomorrow, and cast on for the second before I leave for Mexico. Odds are, I won’t take it with me, I’ll end up taking my Olympics project instead.

Or maybe I’ll take both?
