Grad school is hard… and time consuming. My knitting and fun blogging has fallen by the wayside, my friendships are deteriorating, and I barely see my poor boyfriend and my cats - unless we’re sleeping.

But you know what gets me through the day? Only 32 days until I’ll be sipping tea in London and wear my elegant scarf and boots in Paris being a tourist and taking pictures of everything in sight.

Knitting also helps. Sneaking a few rows in here and there, and getting to spend the BART ride home on Thursdays knitting rather than studying. Thursdays are that happy time where the weekend homework zone hasn’t quite started yet, so I live in a little delusional land where knitting, friends, and my boyfriend are the only things that exist.

I actually have embraced the whole “knitting to stay sane” thing. After I finish a few projects on the needles, I’m going to start something simple, but time consuming. Perhaps a v neck cardigan, or another project from Custom Knits?
