Who I am

I like pictures, and I like putting faces to names, so let’s start with that. Meet me, Liz (bespectacled one):

I live and play in Davis, CA, home to the University of California, Davis and the largest number of bikes per capita of any city in the United States. It’s roughly 1.5 hours drive away from San Francisco, and quite the hippie town. I love living here, so I decided to stay after I graduated from UCD in June 2007. I have a double BA in Psychology and Women’s Studies, with concentrations in Sexualities and History. I’m currently attending San Francisco State University for my Master’s in Women’s Studies with a concentration in History.

On top of being a full time graduate student, I have too many jobs. I am a TA for an undergraduate Women’s Studies/History course at SFSU, a knitting teacher at the UCD Craft Center, Deputy Lady Editor for BitchBuzz.com, and a part-time cubicle slave at a non-profit.

It took me about two weeks of working a full time desk job before I realized it was not for me. I’m too creative and free spirited to be chained into a cubicle or an office on a set schedule. Hopefully, two years from now, I’ll be studying to get my PhD and working towards becoming a college professor.

I write a lot.

I’m bitchy.

I’m ridiculously liberal.

Someday, I will live in a foreign country for a period of 6 months or more.

I ride a scooter.

I live with my boyfriend.

I’m pretty bad ass.

I have two cats.

chappelle I can haz more food? No? PLZ!

I have three tattoos.

I have more aspirations than I can count.

I am a nerd.

I love school.
